Open abrigeiro opened 6 years ago

abrigeiro commented 6 years ago

I was playing invasion, using an Shadow Cat and it has masc, I overused it and my legs took damage and my speed became stuck on full throttle (I assume this is not a bug) but then I went to my drop deck and got my Linebacker, well I got surprised he was still stuck on full throttle, I got killed got on my Arctic Cheetah, well was still in full throttle. Only after the game ended my controlls where back to normal.

Administrivia...

Can you add a link to a video that captures the described behavior.

No, only if I try to reproduce, I don't film my games.

I have encountered that bug as well. This is 100% reproducible for me (on my Black Lanner with MASK). So I have Left Shift bound to advanced zoom toggle. Left Alt bound to MASK (non-toggle). W bound to throttle up (standard W binding). Now to get throttle stuck on 100% you:

1) Press and hold W 2) Additionally press and hold Left Alt (as if you are running on MASK) 3) Additionally press and release Left Shift (as if you are running on MASK and trying to snipe with adv. zoom on or just check who's that far away when you are flanking and looking around)

Release W and Left Alt. Notice that your throttle gets stuck on 100% and there is now way to fix it with other buttons like full stop, decreasing throttle by 10%. What you can do though is all the same steps but with S (standard binding). This will make your throttle be locked on -100% :) So basically you can't stop now.

While looking for where I report bugs I've found out the workaround. Looks like game thinks that W is getting hold all the time. So you need to press Esc to pause then Alt-Tab from the game, so that keyboard control is intercepted by another program and then Alt-Tab back to the game. I think this counts for "More Info" :)

Well it happens to all buttons: W, A, S, D.
