Hey—getting unknown model ID on my satin silver NTSC-J SCPH-50000 TSS. Attached is a screenshot of the error as well as a photo of my sticker and the nvram backup.

Thank you for the response. I tried using this test version, and my model was recognized. However, I am unable to undergo the region unlocking process—upon installing the exploit and unplugging + replugging, I am only able to enter the patch menu and restore factory settings or install force unlock.

Yes, it is not possible to change region on your console. But burned media from your regionwill work out of the box.

Understood. Is it possible that I can change region on my console when you release a new version of Mechapwn?

No, it is not possible. You should eait for hacked fmcb or xeb+, mechapwn cannot change region on fats.

Thank you for all these responses! I really appreciate the help, as I'm pretty unfamiliar with the PS2. So, if I wanted to play official NTSC-U disks on my console, I have no way of doing that right now? If there is any decent way to boot retail US disks on my console, please let me know! Sorry for being such a noob.
