[ISSUE]: SCPH-90000 NTSC-J Waiting for USB #177

Describe the issue

I have a 2GB USB flash drive that I formated to fat32 through my laptop with "quick formatting". It only contains FreeMcBoot version 1.966, and MechaPWN in the root folder. I used FreeDVDboot. I did change the system language to English.

After selecting MechaPWN (rc4 version) through LaunchElf, I see the map screen and then Waiting for USB. This doesn't go anywhere further. I'm not sure if there is really an issue with the USB (since it can be read to launch MechaPWN in the first place) or if it is something else.

Yes, there is an issue with your USB, try to find another USB flash drive.

Thank you for the confirmation. It was driving me crazy. (I also noticed when I tried reformatting as FAT32 with the quick format option removed, that failed on this USB drive.)

I got a fresh, smaller USB drive (1GB), formatted as FAT32 (quick format option removed), and it all went forward smoothly. I confirmed I can play US and Japan PS2 games so all is well!
