Hi, i got an used japanese model. The seller told me the console reads ps2 ntsc and ntsc-j game discs (not backups) But he never knew if ps1 discs would work, so i later got some imports but i couldn't play them. there is a weird clicking sound though. The thing is i suspect my system is mechapwned (pics below)

But i don't know if force unlock is enabled, i don't really plan on using backups anyways so is there anything i can do to turn this thing off?

Closing as no nvram dump provided and mechapwn doesnt allow to bypass region restrictions on 50k and 70k
