PS2 Slim 90006 and all version CEX or DEX not booting. #40

PS2 Slim 90006 either Dex or Cex not able to boot PS1 Games. Have modchip installed. Tried USA, JPN, UK with no luck. If modchip are the blocker, i'll pull it out but before i pull out the modchip, i wanna know does it 100% boot all games PS1 & PS2 backup games on my 90006?

tried pull off modchip. same issue. everything not boot even cex or dex. 90001 to 90007. nothing happens just the browser change to dtl-9000x. any solutions?

but my scph-90006 can install fmcb and boot fine.

Maybe your laser are bad.. There are 2 trimpots down the laser who regulates the amount of energy who goes to the two operation modes, maybe the CD trimpot are with a wrong or bad adjust. This is a common problem on the slim series. Search about this.

Not the pickup lens problem. I've put back the modchip and everything CD/DVD boot and runs perfect.
