MedCyprus / MedCyprusEFES

The Digital Corpus of Painted Greek Inscriptions from Medieval Cyprus (10th – 13th centuries AD), MedCyprus for short, employs EFES (EpiDoc Front End Services), for the publication and wide dissemination of this largely unknown body of epigraphic material.

Shortcuts to each monument in the list of inscriptions #5

The page with the list of inscriptions should have some convenient shortcuts so it isn't necessary to browse by scrolling through the whole list. Easiest may be to have a list of all the monuments at the top of the page, ideally in columns. Each of these would then link down to the first item belonging to that monument. This is similar to the Location Index, where the map serves as an "menu."

Accordeon display may be better than a list at the top of the page. List the number of inscriptions next to the main entry (before expanding the inscription).

This should be based on the location index, but look like the inscription index.

As an example, see https://irt.kcl.ac.uk/irt2009/toc/location/1-sab.html (not EFES)

We either want:

  1. A horizontal list of the numbers 1-60, with links to the first inscription from that monument—exactly the same functionality as in the word index (ticket #2).
  2. An accordion which Elli doesn't like.

I think the solution is 1?
