There are a couple of mini-games that might be used in the game to get pass points. These have Japanese text in the HUD and should be translated to English.
One quick way to access these screens (for quick testing) is to change RAM addresses C480 and C481 (the first and second order state machine bytes) to the values shown below. Do note that when using this method, after either mini-game ends, a blank, white screen follows (but the game still responds to A+B+Select+Start to perform a soft reset).
