Medarot 4, like other Medarot games (and Telefang), uses a checksum to verify if a save is corrupted or not. If the checksum fails, an error message appears telling stating that the data is corrupt and tells the user to restart from the beginning.
To corrupt a save file, please refer to the Medarot 3 issue for details -- the method is identical to that game (as well as Telefang).
The text in Medarot 4 is the mostly similar to the text for Medarot 3 and Telefang (minus the typo where a さ is missing).
