Plugin not accepting passphrase #150

Open zingmars opened 8 years ago

When entering the password in the passphrase window ("Please enter the passphrase to unlock the secret KeyItem for the OpenPGP certific..." - it cuts off right there, might want to look into that as well) it will keep asking for the passphrase no matter what I supply. I'm confident the passphrase I'm entering is correct, as gpg accepted it. OPP Build 5791, Office 16.0.6568.2036.

I'm having the same issue. It will not accept my passphrase and I know I'm entering it correctly.

+1, I'm using smartcard it should prompt a PIN request for my smartcard instead of passphrase

Smart cards are not supported and I have no plans to add. Your welcome to submit a pull request if youre interested in adding it.

@Meddington Any reason why you have no plans to? Complexity? If you can give me some pointers on which calls/files to start, I will look into adding the support.

I do not have time to add this feature and don't need it for my own use or our companies. I would happily accept a pull request that adds this feature.

Review the code in https://github.com/dejavusecurity/OutlookPrivacyPlugin/tree/master/Deja.Crypto/BcPgp, I think most of the changes would be there, although you might also need to add some UI elements.

Cheers, Mike
