a videofile (with existing sidecar)
What do you mean by "sidecar"? Is it the case for any file i.e. always impossible to use MediaConch with 1 file?
Sorry. Confused QCTools with Mediaconch: The files had QCTools-sidecar files (.qctools.xml.gz) - but they are irrelevant for Mediaconch. My bad.
I don't know if it's always impossible to use Mediaconch with 1 file, but that's what I want to test, but hadn't had the time yet.
I tested with v17.08 / Windows10, 64bit, and I can use it with one file. For the moment, I can not reproduce the issue. Note that I think I sometimes got a file not being parsed, but not in that scenario, I know that there is some refactoring to do in order to be sure at 100% that all files are always parsed in the GUI (no problem, I think, on the CLI). Here, I am a bit afraid because it looks like that you always get this issue, and I can not reproduce that.
Thanks for checking it out.
I'll try to reproduce it. Don't have a Windows machine at hand right now, therefore the delay ;) Had the behavior on 4 different machines during the teaching in switzerland.
Don't put your time into this until I had time to reproduce it
Disclaimer: I don't have the time right now to properly debug/test the behavior to report it with enough details :( Yet, I add this issue so I don't forget it ;)
Fresh MediaConch installation (v17.08 / Windows7, 64bit):
I've tried reversing the order in which I add the files: It's always the 1st file - and only if the Results list was empty.
