Nathan,

You mentioned you'd like to get this hosted on the .org repo, which is fantastic, and please let me know how I can help.

I'd like to do another pull request to get this fully ready for translations, but a "translation slug" is needed. The translation slug has to be identical to the plugin slug as mentioned here: http://ottopress.com/2013/language-packs-101-prepwork/

The current slug is gf-event-tracking and I'm not entirely sure what the plugin slug is, but I'm assuming 'gravity-forms-event-tracking'.

I asked Carl Hancock about the name and he said it would be preferred if the plugin had a slug of "gravity-forms-xxx".

@ronalfy I submitted it to the repo over the weekend with the slug "gravity-forms-google-analytics-event-tracking" so we should be good to go!

ronalfy commented 9 years ago

Ah, cool.

nathanmarks commented 9 years ago

@ronalfy Do we need to edit the main plugin file name as well?

@ronalfy Do we need to edit the main plugin file name as well?

BTW I added "google-analytics" so it could be more easily identified and also so the repo slug would be more search friendly for people looking for Gravity Forms + Google Analytics

ronalfy commented 9 years ago

No, the main plugin file name is fine. You can name it "index.php" and it wouldn't matter. The slug is only important as far as the wordpress.org location/updates and language packs.

Ok, let's change that then.

I've got a couple more small things I intend on implementing this week/next week when I get the chance.

Also can you do me a favour and work off develop from now on?

ronalfy commented 9 years ago

Of course.
