Is there a chance for a plugin like https://www.typesettercms.com/Plugins/289_Roboto_Sans_2014_Web_Fonts which extends the ckeditor with a hook and allows any additional font to be implemented as a plugin and have it locally ?

I do not have any idea how this could be done. You can customize fonts used in mediawiki by .css or html, but html tags will not work well with wysiwyg.
