Sanity Checks for Princess

I'd like to request, if not a complete update, at least the following sanity checks for Princess, to curb some of her mistakes.

• Do not entrap units by deploying them in pockets they cannot escape (1 hex islands, tiny open spaces on city maps, etc...)
• Path around buildings if they block the shortest route to her target instead of milling around.
• Path around peninsulas instead of getting stuck.
• Use bridges
• Track and avoid found minefields. Go through only if cannot make it around in 1 round.
• Track and avoid enemy artillery auto hit hexes
• Do not enter AOE of any friendly team member's incoming artillery.
• Do not expose rear to enemy units
• If firepower check comes back greater than 2-1 against current unit, move instead of standing still
• Do not leave infantry & vees in burning hexes
• If becoming surrounded, move before becoming pinned in place

The latest update is supposed to change the default bridge behavior to 'climb up'. I'll be interested to see if that lets Princess cross bridges.

• do not move vees to range 0 on enemy units if possible, especially mechs.

• Place turrets with clear arcs of fire.
• Do not place turrets in lowest possible CF buildings. Find high HP buildings instead.
• Do not prioritize targeting turrets over mobile units.

There have been a number of improvements to Princess since this was posted, but the following issues still remain in some form or other and have proven tougher to address than it may seem:

• minefield avoidance
• infantry and vehicles still occasionally like to hang out in burning hexes
• bot still frequently targets turrets over mobile units

These are "it depends" situations:

• sometimes, moving a vehicle under a mech results in less projected incoming damage than leaving it on a different hex. Cranking the bot's aggressiveness up and self-preservation down should reduce this.
• sometimes, there is no way to avoid exposing your unit's rear armor to at least one hostile (especially for surrounded slower units), or movement/terrain modifiers make it seem like the incoming damage will be pretty low

The rest of this list has been addressed, I believe.
