Artemis IV Validation #888

Open HammerGS opened 3 years ago

HammerGS commented 3 years ago

I'll also add that you can validate a unit when it isn't carrying the correct number of Artemis IV systems. Same Environment.

Description

According to the TechManual, p. 207 of the 2020 edition, "If Artemis IV is added to an applicable launcher, every applicable launcher on the unit must have Artemis IV (non-applicable launchers, such as Streak SRMs, may still be installed)." No offense intended if this is already known. missing artIV

In future please don't add new issues to an existing issue, unless they are related. i.e. Don't add Artemis issues to a CASE issue unless the the Artemis is directly impacting the CASE issue.

ZPointZ commented 3 years ago

It's an honest mistake. I'll do so in future.

Based on this post - https://github.com/MegaMek/megamek/pull/2939#issuecomment-1423538688

Hate to do this, however this might be a bug with the above fix and not a new issue; I'm having a problem with Artemis IV on an Omnifighter: MegaMekLab bug Unit Validation fails Artemis IV when requirement met

Anishinabe_Chippewa II_Omni ANI-EX1.txt

I have done various things with Artemis IV/V and Apollo on Battlemechs and large naval units and it all seems to work fine. IDK what the underlying issue is here.

[EDIT] I'm using MML 49.10 , Windows 10, and Eclipse JDK 11.0.17+8 .

It appears the issue is still existing.
