how to get randominium:any_item to stay #20

I can get randominium:any_item as an item, but I cant get it to choose an item and stay, even if I drop it on the ground. Is there any way to get this item to choose using the given item instead of the ore?

Why are you complaining about a crafting recipe when you give yourself items via commands? That's a Dev item you are not supposed to get it. It does nothing

I was just wondering if there is any way to give a player a random item with commands, and when i saw that randominium:any_item was a thing, I wanted to find out if it was possible to do this with that item. I don't need to craft it, I just want to use it for a sort of loot block made from commands on my server.
