[Forge 1.19.2-6.0.4] Cannot apply slice maps to atlases at a cartography table

Though you can normally apply empty maps to atlases with a cartography table, you cannot do slice maps.

(You can't put it in the slot)

Dunno about 1.19.2, but for 1.20.1, slice maps need to be filled/activated before they can be put into a cartography table.

I was able to put empty slice maps into the atlas by crafting it, though
