16:9 aspect ratio

Due to the increasing number of 16:9 laptop screens it will be interesting
to have something to manage this.

Several options in mind:

1 - Have the ability to ask for the aspect ratio.
2 - If you ask for a 4:3 aspect ratio and the display it's a 16:9 render in
a square.
3 - If you ask for a 16:9 aspect ratio and the display it's a 4:3 open a
bigger resolution and render in a frame (cinemascope).
4 - ¿suggestions?

Sorry, this should be an enhancement not a Defect (where do I have to change 
the type
or sign the issue)

i think we can handle this, i already plan to enhance the API to let the user 
query for the set of display modes, 
and the current desktop display mode -- the programmer could then use this 
functionality to implement any 
sort of smart resolution/aspect ratio code they want in fullscreen and windowed 
output

marking as dupe, because another issue exists regarding the user querying the 
display modes, current display 
mode etc. -- using this data, the user can easily implement aspect ratio code 
themselves
