Migrate to XeLaTex and Polyglossia

Hi there, I was planning to give this template makeover. Changes:

• [ ] Use XeLaTex (removing inputenc and fontenc)
• [ ] Use Polyglossia instead of Babel
• [ ] Show sidebar (graphic) on on the first page

Do you prefer a pull request or should I just go ahead and make a fork of your project (in case you don't have any time for maintenance)
