Update notices number when a notice is dismissed #4

If I dismiss a notice in the pop-up, the number of notices is not decreased in the counter. We should cater for this and also investigate how some other plugins handle the dismissal (there might be an AJAX call in the background + custom JS event that we need to listen for).
