In all the use-cases there is a direct communication between the LDN sender and the LDN receiver. There can be situations when the provenance tail or scholarly record can become fragmented when messages are dropped for some reason (the LDN receiver was offline for some reason).
Should we add some wording that the EventLog should be made public to keep a complete copy of LDN messages that were attempted to send out to some party?
