3 years ago Thank you for your feedback. We are revising many things recently. We will add the functions you mentioned, and we will add more options in the settings interface. And we will open source as soon as possible
I've got the 7 inch RRF version, I made the mistake in thinking that it is open source, my bad. Since i cannot do anything myself i can as well tell you what i think needs improvement. I hate non implemented functions which cannot be hidden. Everything that doesn't work should be hidden.
The Home screen: Is nearly useless for a delta style printer. Consider a circle (for XY) which you can point where the effector should move to, and a slider for Z. (with customizable speed stored in a parameter) The 3 nozzles are irritating what are they for? I would like to have the option that the head moves to a specified position (i have a macro for a maintenance coordinates that i use when i need change nozzles): Great would be buttons for G28, G32 and one for a custom position.
Heating: The heating label is in chinese when touched. consider the ability to hide unused nozzles i'm using just one nozzle like nearly 70% of people out there. The 7 inch screen could display nozzle T and bed T at same time with a slider for the FAN speed ( which i think is pretty usefull Part cooling fan)
Print: Show directly Onboard and hide the rest.
MOVE: like the home screen a nicer aproach would be a circle wiht XY and a slider for Z. (for delta printers) parameter sections still has chinese in it
More (Move): when you click on the last label it changes from Move to More.
I guess the WIFI functionality is nonsense for duet Boards, or do i miss something ?
