[šŸ› Bug]: Error 400, Something went wrong / Bad Request #793

Open EscWasTaken opened 1 year ago

EscWasTaken commented 1 year ago

What went wrong?

When getting token, OAUTH will get to the "Google hasnā€™t verified this app" stage, then on continuing, it goes to "Something went wrong", and clicking next will give "400. Thatā€™s an error. The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. Thatā€™s all we know." image image

What did you expect to happen?

OAuth page should do a consent check and then provide a code for assistant. Steps 9 and 10 is what is typically expected to happen.

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Install stable branch through winget (winget install "g-assist" -e) (may be fine on other install types, but I haven't checked)
  2. Follow setup guide
  3. Open browser for token
  4. Select google account to sign in with
  5. Continue on "Google hasnā€™t verified this app"
  6. Bug occurs

NVM Got to the next screen where you give the project access to the google account and got a different error when clicking "continue". Got to step 9 and then bug error: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
