chat message duplication occuring #73

KamakazeChickn reported that this was still happening when PMing. The fix shouldn't be visual, it should be in stopping the service from launching more than once.

https://i.imgur.com/T3r8rMZ.png - I'm not able to duplicate the issue again today, but it seemed to start after I whispered jbpratt about another issue. All the regular chat messages started duplicating as well.
