Sorry but I couldn't look at these images... ;)

Icon source is same as mentioned in Icons\Readme.txt (FreePik / www.FlatIcon.com + Icons8.com)

... or alternatively I have a separate branch if You'd like more brown Dolphin... (https://github.com/Pawe1/Delphinus/tree/IconsRefresh_BrownDolphin)

Alternative

@Memnarch You can take a look at this thing too  [it shouldn't take more than one minute :stuck_out_tongue: ]

Memnarch commented 7 years ago

Already did, the lineonly icons just don't fit in my opinion into the current UI :/

Pawe1 commented 7 years ago

You don't have to treat my proposal as a "set" - feel free to pick only some of the files if You want. "Licence" / "bug report" icons with were just the first icons I found that looked more "modern". Maybe they weren't the best choice.

Alternative

  1. IMHO (no offence  ) old "package" icon looks like "uhm... rounded rectangle?... why / what is this?"
  2. UI trends have changed over the last years. (Link 1 / Link 2) When I open Delphinus I feel like back in 2000's (especially about buttons on the right bottom) Windows looks more simple & flat. Mac looks more simple & flat... and so on... Even Delphi...

The ui itself needs an overhaul but i just don't have the time for that PS: and your first picture is not fair! what have you done? why is it 98 unthemed :P?

Pawe1 commented 7 years ago

I understand - I think too that functionality has a higher priority for now. But I can look for better glyphs for "license" / "bug report". (You can still re-think about rest of them  )

PS → I personally hate themes and all of that colorful blinky stuff :stuck_out_tongue: Maybe this is all about functionality and not being distracted?... So this is just pure 2k8 R2  BTW for me Win 10 is too "flat". Android is going in better direction.

WIN 10 is getting an overhaul with going more mobile in terms of color composition iirc. And new Material like stuff for Universal apps.
