Custom Nautilus Icons

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set custom icon for a folder in nautilus (properties of folder, click on
icon, select a image file)
2. make sure that this folder is shown in gnome-menu-file-browser

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect the custom icon, I see the standard folder icon.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.5.4 on Ubuntu 7.10

It would be also nice if nautilus emblems are shown. Maybe it is possible to 
reuse
nautilus' display function in the menu-file-browser-applet.

Emblems definitely would be nice! Not sure How much of Nautilus' functionality 
can be
used from other apps. Worth a look though.

The gio GIcon interface supposedly includes emblems. Will have to investigate 
that.

Thumbnails might be nice too...

Apparently the GEmblemedIcon interface in GIO is nothing but an interface. So, 
no
emblems for now :-(

So, thumbnails were implemented on 0.6.3. And Alex Larsson's work on metadata 
should
make emblems possible when its complete.
