Pop-up (Vista style) menu #46

Could we have an option of pop-up instead of pull-down menus? My mouse
travels across the screen since I have long directory/file names.

I'm not sure what you mean by pop-up vs pop-down and haven't used Vista. Can you
elaborate please?

Basically, instead of submenu after submenu opening up while navigating
directories,
there would only be one menu ever. Clicking on a directory would redraw the
menu to
just show that directory, like navigating in a real file manager.

OH. And you have to click on a folder menu if you want to navigate it? How do
you go
back up a directory; is there an item in the menu to do that?

Actually, I just looked at Vista on my mom's computer, and it uses a tree
system -
clicking on a folder reveals its contents, while leaving the other folders
visible.
It's basically the same as the submenu upon submenu implementation, except that
there's less horizontal travel, since the new submenu opens up directly below
the
parent. This option could be useful, although it's not what I originally
intended.

How I was originally thinking (and still desire):
>And you have to click on a folder menu if you want to navigate it?
Yeah

>How do you go back up a directory; is there an item in the menu to do that?
Yeah, placed opposite the directory header. Header - Folders - Files - Up
