/ is not selectable normally #55

In file-browser-applet-0.6.0 I had to manually set the path to / in
gconf-editor. The GUI wouldn't allow that. Trying to select / would always
dive into a subfolder.
When set manually, it works fine tho. (Expect bug 54)

Yes it is. Choose "File System" from the "Places" menu on the left of the file 
chooser.

Strange. The first time around I tried exactly that, and it failed. Now it 
works.
