Opening browser-bookmars (.desktop-file) does not open web browser but gedit #74

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a bookmark (e.g. drag 'n drop the favicon in firefox to the
desktop. That creates a .desktop-file)
2. open that .desktop-file via file-browser-applet

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect to open firefox this bookmark like a doubleclick in nautilus
does. Instead gedit opens that .desktop-file.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.6.4 on Ubuntu 9,10

The content of the bookmark-.desktop-file:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Verknüpfung mit Epiphany: The web browser for the GNOME desktop
Type=Link
URL=http://projects.gnome.org/epiphany/
Icon=gnome-fs-bookmark

Kind regards,
Florian

Hi there,

Yep, I get that behaviour as well. And Nautilus can't open the file either; I
get an
 unknown file type error.

Also, I think this is the same problem described in bug #72 so I will merge the
two.

Note: On my system firefox 3.5 opens that .desktop file after a doubleclick in
nautilus.
