No icons appear in panel nor in menus #85

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Default ubuntu install 'sudo aptitude install file-browser-applet'

And let me add. Real nice work. My single most missed KDE feature. (beside sane 
file dialogs)

I have fixed this in git (gitorious) but need to make a release with the fix.

I have the same result, as reported...
Installed ubuntu 10.10 (fresh) and file-browser-applet 0.6.6
By the way, excellent gnome applet!
