‘Menu’ text missing if appmenu indicator is present #86

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add File Browser applet to the panel.
2. Install indicator-applet-appmenu
3. Add Indicator Applet Appmenu to the pane.
4. Reboot (or log off and back on).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The ‘Menu’ label completely disappears, making the button nearly impossible
to hit. The same goes for the icon.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 10.04, with all the mentioned applets installed from the default
repositories.

Please provide any additional information below.
This is the same as the first bug I previously mentioned in issue 84 comment 3
(I just didn’t track down the cause until now). See the attached image there.

Hmmm. Tried it on my computer and couldn't reproduce it. Can you attach a
screenshot please?

This is the same screenshot that I posted in issue 84. The applet is located at
the corner of the screen, as indicated by the larger arrow. Perhaps there’s
something off with my system. I have no idea what it could be. Thanks.
