Add installation section #177

This PR adds an installation section to README.md.

The failed R CMD check workflow on oldrel has nothing to do with the change - it is because the dependency DescTools now requires R >= 4.3.0. I guess the error will go away once R 4.4.0 is released in April 2024 and R 4.3.x becomes oldrel...
