Config to disable foxfire mushrooms #44

Closed Krampus69 closed 3 years ago

Hello, It would be nice to disable the foxfire mushrooms. To be honest, they react badly to shaders and they tend to spawn in structures above the surface for some reason, which ruins both the underground and the surface of the overworld.

As you can see they're glowing so much, I would appreciate a way to remove them without using another tool.

By the way, on this screen I am in a dungeonCrawl dungeon where, as you can see, every subterranean blocks spawn and get glitchy. I think this part should be handled by the dungeonCrawl author though, I'll send him an issue request. 2021-05-15_06 56 44

Thanks for your amazing work, my team and I we really love your mod.

Hey, thanks for your report.

Do the foxfires glow that much without shaders? What shaderpack are you using?

In order to help diagnose worldgen related issues, please could you provide a debug.log with TelepathicGrunt's Blame mod installed? You can find a debug.log in the .minecraft/logs folder. If you're using the Curse Client, they disable generating the debug.log by default, but you can get it by manually launching the game with this guide.

I am using the BSL Shaders v8.0.0.1 Here is how it behaves with no shaders :

There is my debug.log file debug.log

This is my modlist, maybe one of them is messing with the emissive

Tried to disable every mod but the glow was still there.

I tried to figure out how to stop it glowing excessively but no dice. :/

v1.3.0 is now published and has the config option to disable foxfire generation entirely if desired. Not ideal but better than nothing.
