As we're working to enhance our audio broadly, I wanted to give users the ability to disable the audio for effects for any reason.
I want to make it a two phase setup.
One is a strict volume coefficient (so you can set it to 0 and mute it) and the other is to disable playback completely.
The difference between them, in theory, is that one would let you keep closed captions but still mute the audio, if it's desirable.
Mostly I think people will like the ability to adjust their client audio levels for sounds maybe they don't mind, but think are too loud, or mute specific audio they just hear too much of.
We're in a growing phase of not knowing how the mod will be consumed by power players, so it's tough to guess what audio will wind up being excessive until we reach a larger audience.
