every single time... it always has downtime #122

So, every time I try to self-host it, it ends up going down. I'm moving it to GitHub Pages (https://kxtzownsu.github.io/emulators/). Now it should never go down, unless github itself has downtime.

Can't you just use GitHub.io custom domain feature with anura.kxtzownsu or something?

yea but I was trying to get this PR done asap

I'm against changing the url yet again, if you can't host it let me take over, this is sort of getting ridiculous imo

this time i had 0 control over it going down, ill get the CNAME setup done i guess

ProgrammerIn-wonderland commented 9 months ago

You used the zero control excuse last time too, I've reiterated, mirror uptime is your responsibility alone.

Kilo decided to just turn off the server and install Debian w/out me knowing (and now he cant even install it for some reason).

ProgrammerIn-wonderland commented 9 months ago

Do you not have some sort of fail over for when things go down?

kxtzownsu commented 9 months ago

No, I just got access to this server a few days ago. But me not having a fail over is 100% my responsibility, and I will set one up soon (within the next week or so)

Gotcha, please get this fixed-ish before the reliability update (1.1.1)

Alright, I got the CNAME stuff done, as long as the public instance is on latest, it should work!
