As discussed in #161 the Input documentation needs an rework.
Apart from an example using sign/quanitze there are a few more issues.
the absolute maxmim of values for mouse/ controller input is arbitrary (depending on sensitivity) and the range is between minus that value and plus that value.
the range of values for keyboard input is -1, 0 and 1
There are only 6 degrees of freedom in total, 3 for directions and 3 for rotations. Each has direction resp. rotation has an mirrored pair.
