I'm missing a tutorial which explains how to create a hello-world project, how 
to customize code generation, etc.

Thanks for the report. When you download MetaEdit+ 4.5 you receive an extensive 
set of tutorials, and those will answer the questions above. For the extra 
details of how to tweak your generators to best take advantage of the plugin,

PS please notice the Labels for categorising. This isn't a software defect, so
