takes care of issue #254, adds experimenter data to general tab summary when bytes type

FYI @filippomc, @stephprince is the student who's working with us for GSoC 2021 and is testing numerous NWB files on a local install of NWBE. She's identified a few minor updates to make allow the application to read in as much metadata as possible.
