Description

As part of our ongoing brand evolution initiative, we have received updated color tokens for Q1, which are now available in our Figma. This task involves updating our CSS-in-JS design tokens to align with these latest color tokens. The goal is to ensure that our application's visual elements reflect the updated brand palette, maintaining consistency with our evolving brand identity and enhancing the overall user experience.

Technical Details

• Objective: Integrate the brand evolution color updates into our CSS-in-JS tokens, utilizing the updated JSON color tokens from the design tokens library.
• Implementation Steps:
  1. Review the updated JSON color tokens available in the design tokens library to understand the scope of the brand evolution updates.
  2. Identify all existing CSS-in-JS implementations within the portfolio that utilize color tokens.
  3. Update the CSS-in-JS code to reference the new color tokens, ensuring that all components and features reflect the updated brand palette.
  4. Conduct thorough testing to verify that the color updates are accurately applied across the portfolio, paying close attention to visual consistency and theming.
• Dependencies: This task is dependent on the availability of the updated color tokens in JSON format within the design tokens library.

Acceptance Criteria

• All CSS-in-JS design tokens accurately reflect the brand evolution color tokens.
• Storybook documentation has been updated
