Porting to Safari Web Extension (Safari 14) #8879

Safari 14 (in preview mode now) supports the WebExtension standard. Is it possible to port Metamask to work as a Safari extension now?

There are build instructions available in https://github.com/InjectiveLabs/metamask-extension/blob/safari-extension/docs/build-for-safari.md, so you don't need to install a build that you don't trust

Hello, I have tried to build Metamask extension for Safari but I see a blank popup. I was not able to run the extension. Do you have any idea or comments that you can help me? I tried nearly all versions from v9.0.5 (which InjectiveLabs published) up to v10.0. Any help will be appreciated.

MetaMask for Safari w/ hw wallet support would be really nice. Chrome is a pestilence.
