I've encountered this issue while using Wallet Connect and switching networks. It seems that WC continues to work normally, but I see a background error.

Repro:

  1. Go to the test dapp with your computer https://metamask.github.io/test-dapp/
  2. Click Wallet Connect
  3. Scan QR code with Mobile wallet
  4. Accept connection
  5. Switch networks on MM wallet
  6. See error in the background
