[surface] and [model]: historical station data / historical and current gridded model data #31

Dear MeteoSchweiz Team,

What a great perspective: Soon I can use data not only for research but also for consulting.

I have two suggestions:

-Please provide historical station data. So all the data available on IDAWeb would be very useful.

-Please provide historical and current gridded model data, GRIB or netCDF. This would allow spatial analysis but also provides boundary conditions for custom models. The COSMO output is archived at CSCS anyways, so with a CDN service in addition, this should be straightforward.

Thank you very much for your suggestions. They are on the agenda for the next meeting of the respective data teams. The meeting will take place in calendar week 43 (23 to 27 October).
