death message error?

Describe the bug

when a player dies the server trys to put out a death message in chat but it seems to be buggy and just kicks the player

only way i have seem to fix this error is too use ViaFabricPlus and go down to minecraft version 1.20.1

Steps to reproduce

log into any server wait for a player to die boom
