LCC (Localization Cue Correction) is a solution for spatialized audio through stereo speakers. LCC is a lightweight implementation of crosstalk cancellation so your left ear hears the left channel of audio, and your right ear hears the right channel of audio while ensuring unwanted audio signal coloration is mitigated.
The readme says that the code is put in the public domain but
two of the three files (RtAudio.cpp and RtAudio.h) have copyright headers saying otherwise,
file lcc_rtaudio.cpp lacks a copyright header (but it's good practice to add some), and
public domain does not work well for all countries (which you recognize) which is why many people use CC-0 ("Creative Commons Zero") for the same goal, instead.
Probably all of these are easy to fix. What do you think?
Interesting. Thank you for the information. We can look into your second bullet. I am not familiar with your third bullet, i.e., how public domain works outside the US.
