I don't really PvP enough to be able to weigh the outcomes to developing such an option, but it doesn't sound too complicated. I reckon someone could get around to forking it (permissibly of course) if MeteorLizard would rather not include it.
The new toggle system breaks muscle memory for old m9k players, it's definitely better for cs:s players but it'd be really nice if servers had the option to switch back to the much simpler, old m9k scoping system
New features have been added. M9kr scopes are now non-toggle (hold) by default. They use their maximum zoom stage.
The original remastered behavior can be brought back by setting m9k_zoomstages and m9k_zoomtoggle to 1 in the server console.

Many of the people I play with that use M9kr despise the fact that it has toggle scoping, they rather have me use the old m9k for it. I personally like m9kr's normal scopes but the toggle function makes it impossible to use snipers and scoped weapons. If the normal weapons don't have toggle scoping why should scoped weapons have it? It'd be great to have a convar that allows you to set your preferred mode of aiming.
