2 years ago @kaxline I figured since we already have a drop down menu in the top right hand corner of the top nav. bar we could just replace with an in icon for add friends and eliminate the drop down menu. Once a user clicked on the icon it would point them to the add connection page. I figured this is the most economical way to go about this provided we already have a UI to add connections (see snapshot of existing window below). The only change that we would need to make is delete age and include a last name to the list of a users contacts. Sign-out can be moved to settings (sketch forthcoming). Also, instead of having a black bar that says expand or create a new group the idea would be just to expand a group via a button which, when pressed, would send out an automated message that would say something like "so and so added blank, blank and blank to the conversation." Thoughts?
Yep, see the UI sent for user messaging. Bottom right, big button for messaging represented by the "man-shake" icon. As far as connections on the profile page maybe place in top menu? I'm thinking the main actions will be "messaging" and "next" I'll give the connections button on the profile some further thought.
