Yes. I think firstly though I would like to filter for those who share common interests. Working on that form now.

@kaxline Here is a first go at some filter functionality one can apply when browsing profiles. I'm unsure as to how best we can filter interests so an individual can search for example other people who like to mountain bike and then swipe through those who are interested in mountain biking. It looks like Material design includes a slider option to narrow the age demographic that we could apply. My inspiration for filtering by location has also been included below. I'm thinking City in a Bold font followed by State and Country in a smaller font directly below looks good. Let me know what you think.

@kaxline been thinking through filtering a bit more and thinking we should include time of day and days of the week when filtering. See the draft UI's below. Additionally, with interests I like our approach to interests because instead of having pre-defined chips that one can click on; such as, "biking" or "running" we have made it easier for people to create what may be less common interests. That said, my thoughts on how filtering be interest would work is someone would start typing running for example the results that would populate would be like "Running, Runnin, or Run". The most popular result would appear first. Also, you may ask yourself should we make it so someone can say their available on Thursday and Friday for example and then choose at what times their available on Thursday and Friday like for example "in the morning or afternoon". The challenge here would be if their availability was different on those days because the software would not know what times go with what days. I think at this phase we can skip that functionality if that makes the dev. effort easier? The user would need to update their filter for each time they were looking for someone to hangout with. Hopefully this makes sense. As far as location goes, I thought about monetizing this from the get-go but I kind of like the idea of not monetizing this. One key advantage that we have is that we are not charging a fee for a "premium" profile with enhanced filters like Bumble does. We can get away with not charging a fee because we don't have investors breathing down our necks looking for 10x return on their money. More to chat about on the business end of things and this may change in the future to offset costs/liabilities but hopefully this all makes sense.

Revised Filter (When and Time) Revised Filter (When and Time) 1

@kaxline Been tweaking the filter functionality. See the additional filters above and below. I want to test how the additional filters are received among guys. This is in addition to the filters already outlined above. For now, let's only include major cities in the Portland/Beaverton, Oregon metro area and Salt Lake City, Utah metro areas. I will track down a list and send over. Let me know what your think in the interim.

@kaxline Below are my thoughts on how the added filters would be displayed on someone's profile when browsing and editing in settings. I struggled on whether or not some of these filters should be displayed on someone's profile. For example, if someone was struggling with depression or addiction they may not want to include under a public profile, but my concluding thought was if someone was to make the selection, I presume they are ok with others knowing they are struggling with a particular condition, etc. We will see how guys respond to this. This has the potential to be super powerful and unique.

@Kaxline Lets knock off "depression" and "stress" above. Don't think anyone will say they're depressed on the app not unless they're feeling extremely vulnerable.
