release v4? it's been an rc for 2 years and the -rc on the npm version breaks semantic versioning checks in some cases #8

oh wow. ok thanks for the heads up. hope this gets sorted. I know npm can work out transferring ownership of the package name if someone is unresponsive just fyi.
