Would love some elaboration on the documentation on how to get it up and running on my own machine.

I currently have some plans on this repo, sure, that docs/info will be available in next few days.

👍 I have just started looking into the concepts behind all this and playing around with the API and figuring out the environment. Looking forward to the docs update.

It's my bachelow degree project, so repo will be maintained and some positive results will be too.
