Beautiful Soup 4 compatibility #89

The Beautiful Soup documentation says that developers should, if writing new code, try to use Beautiful Soup 4. In the future, some Bicho users may only have BS4 installed, not BS3. We should accommodated both versions, or possibly force BS4-only.
