Power Caliper from Li-Ion battery? #1

This is a great project! I came here because it was featured on Hackaday just now.

I wonder if one could add another regulator to output 1.5V so that we could get rid of the coin cell of this thing? Did you try to power the calipers from that fourth pin?

I just added a 1.5V regulator. Powering the calipers shouldn't be a issue. GND and 1.5V pin are connected straight to the button cell terminals.
